Gwent Police has made a fresh appeal for information to find a Newbridge man missing since before the new year.

Kyle Vaughan, 24, was last seen on Sunday December 30 at his home address.

He is described as 5ft 8ins, of slim build, with short dark hair, and brown eyes. He wears a gold neck chain with a cross and has a distinctive barcode tattoo on his inner left forearm as well as a tatto of a pair of flaming dice.

Police have received information that Mr Vaughan might have been hitching a lift on the A467 northbound between Risca and Crosskeys, between 10.35pm and 12.30am on Sunday.

Officers investigating his disappearance said Mr Vaughan’s family and friends have concerns for his welfare and are urging anyone who has been in contact with him or has any information about his whereabouts to contact Gwent Police on 101.

They have also emphasised that neither Mr Vaughan, or anyone who has been in contact with him, have anything to fear about contacting them.
