He’s known for his red fez, but comic Tommy Cooper’s statue in Caerphilly town had a Comic Relief red nose placed on him in a stunt to promote the charity.

Red Nose Day 2013 is on Friday March 15 and the British public is being asked to “Do Something Funny for Money”.

The statue of the Caerphilly-born magician sported a Red Nose Day T-shirt. The exclusive Stella McCartney designed T-shirts are available at TK Maxx.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Red Nose Day which has raised over £600m and helped to change lives both in the UK and Africa.
