A cyclist has died following a collision this morning in Crumlin.
It happened on the A472, Hafodyrynys Road at about 7.20am.
Two cars and a cyclist were involved in the collision. The cyclist, a 60-year-old man from the Markham area, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of one of the cars, a 51-year-old man from the Porth area, has been arrested in connection with the collision and remains in police custody at this time.
