Caerphilly energy firm shortlisted for industry award

A Caerphilly business which helps firms to save energy has been shortlisted for an industry award.

SERS, which is based on the Gallagher Retail Park, has been shortlisted in the Business Growth category in the Construction News Specialist Awards 2014.

The accolade recognises SERS’ achievement in tripling in size in just two years.

The nomination comes after SERS’ listing inthe Sunday Times Virgin 100 table of fast growing companies.
SERS has increased its sales by more than 50% a year over the last two years and has tripled in size, achieving a sales turnover of £30 million and employing more than 170 people.

SERS director, Mike Roberts said they were delighted to have made the shortlist for such a sought-after construction industry award.

Winners will be announced later this month.
