A man who fell from a moving car in Newbridge is in a stable but critical condition, police have said.
Emergency services were called at around 5.05pm on Wednesday April 9 to reports of a crash on Bryngwyn Road, Newbridge.
Gwent Police said that on arrival, a man in his 40s was found with life-threatening injuries – having fallen from a moving car.
The man was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
A 38-year-old woman from the Newbridge area who was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and drink driving has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
