Man punched girl, 17, in the face on Pontlottyn High Street

A 17-year-old girl had to be taken to hospital after she was attacked by a man in Pontlottyn.

The girl was punched in the face and dragged to the floor by the attacker on High Street, at around 1.20am on Wednesday November 19.

She was with a friend when a man in his early twenties, wearing a white hooded top approached them and assaulted the girl.

He then ran off leaving her with cuts and bruises. She received treatment in hospital.

Gwent Police are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to contact them on 101 quoting log number 13 19/11/2014

    Another thug we need to lock up in solitary confinement. When will the MP’s realise we have an inadequate criminal justice system? I know the sentence has not been passed but let’s play a little game.

    I start the guessing at a month and 60 hours community service.
