Four arrested in two separate drugs raids in Abertridwr and Llanbradach

Four men have been arrested after a series of drug raids in Abertridwr and Llanbradach.

On June 23, police officers searched a property in Oakfield Street, Llanbradach, where 95 cannabis plants were found.

A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and was bailed pending further enquiries.

Two men were arrested after a raid on a property in Windsor Place, Abertridwr, on June 12.

A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and suspected possession of a Class A drug. He was due to appear before Caerphilly Magistrates’ Court on June 25. A 38-year-old man from the Nelson area was cautioned for possession of a Class A drug.

Gwent Police officers also carried out a search warrant on June 17 at a property on Lower Francis Street, Abertridwr.

A 20-year-old man was arrested and charged for production of Class B drugs. A quantity of drugs was seized from the property. He has now been bailed to appear before Caerphilly Magistrates on July 2.

All three raids were unconnected to each other.
