Deliberate fires in Graig y Rhacca and Newbridge

Crews from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to three separate deliberately-set fires on Saturday, March 12.

The first was a wheelie bin fire which was deliberately set on Ashfield Road, Newbridge, just after 5pm. Abercarn crew attended.

The next was a deliberate grass fire at Addison Way in Graig y Rhacca, near Machen, at 5.28pm. A crew from Caerphilly put out the fire using beaters.

Caerphilly firefighters were again called out to a deliberate rubbish fire the skate park on Longfellow Gardens in Graig y Rhacca just after 8pm.
