Gwent Police has imposed a 48 hour dispersal order in Castle Maen, Caerphilly over the coming weekend in an attempt to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.

Starting at 5pm today, Friday October 14, and lasting 48 hours, the dispersal order covers Druids Close, Black Prince Road, Drum Tower View, Knights Walk, Skomer Island Way, and all public spaces and thoroughfares within the boundary – pictured above.

Officers will be patrolling the area, and have the authority to direct anyone behaving anti-socially away from the area.

If anyone returns to the area after being moved on, they face being arrested.

Residents can report any anti-social activity to 101. In the event of an emergency, always call 999.
