Gwent Police is appealing for information after a woman’s handbag was stolen.
The woman, in her 60s, was walking along Heol Morien, Nelson, at around 4.20pm on Sunday February 12 when she was approached by a man who stole her handbag. She was left unharmed.
The man is described as white, around 20 years old, of large build and average height. He was wearing a navy hooded jumper, grey tracksuit bottoms, and a grey tartan scarf.
The bag was a small black leather shoulder bag with black strap. It contained a black leather office purse with white flowers on the front. Inside was an iPhone 5C, cash, and bank cards.
