Police are appealing for information after a man was left with serious injuries after being struck by a car.
Officers from Gwent Police are seeking information on the collision, which happened at around 11.55pm on Saturday February 25, after the driver failed to stop.
The black car, described as possibly a Volkswagen Golf, hit a man on the High Street in Nelson, near to the John the Baptist Church.
The pedestrian was left with serious injuries.
Anyone who works in a garage and has recently had a similar car brought in with damage to the front, or has information about the incident, can call Gwent Police on 101, quoting log number 572 25/02/17.
