Police are warning van owners across Caerphilly County Borough after several Ford vans were the targets of theft.
Officers believe that so-called ‘skeleton keys’ are being used to gain access to the vehicles, causing no damage in the process. Several incidents between Monday May 8 and Wednesday May 10 have seen power tools and work equipment stolen from across Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent.
Residents are reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour, and police have asked van owners to consider what they leave on show and store in their vehicles.
Anyone with information relating to the incidents can call 101 quoting log number 28 09/05/17.
