Kyle Vaughan, 24, of Newbridge has been missing since December 30, 2012

The family of missing man, Kyle Vaughan, shared fond memories and paid tributes during a memorial service last month.

Mr Vaughan, who was 24 when he went missing, was last seen on Sunday December 30, 2012, as he left his home. The following police inquiry quickly developed into a murder investigation, although no body has ever been found. His damaged silver Peugeot 306 was later found on the A467 between Risca and Crosskeys, and police believe Mr Vaughan was in the car and had managed to survive.

More than four years after his disappearance, family and friends have held a memorial service at St John’s Church, Newport on Tuesday May 23.

In October 2016 Mr Vaughan was officially presumed dead by the High Court, and in December, Gwent Police issued a fresh appeal for information.

Anyone with information can call Gwent Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Someone must know what happened to Kyle, why don’t they have the courage to tell the police – even if they do it anonymously through Crimestoppers
