The silver Nissan was discovered almost vertical in a hedge near Machen

Police are appealing for information after a car was found almost vertical in a hedge near Machen.

At around 7.15am on Friday, November 3, officers were contacted by a member of the public to report a vehicle in a hedge on the A468 between Machen and Risca.

The car, a silver Nissan Almera was recovered at 9.40am.

Anyone with information can call Gwent Police on 101.

    Surely a good start would be for the police to check who the car is registered to ?
    ( Unless it had been stolen ! )

    Why dont the police run their fancy checks? If they can send you a speeding fine by just your number plate surely they can find whos car it is.
