Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel and Spa has been named ‘Best Venue’ at the Welsh National Wedding Awards.

The Maesycwmmer resort was nominated in the category for the sixth year running.

Nominations come directly from brides and grooms, and the top five companies with the most votes that have met the criteria are shortlisted.

The feedback is then scored for quality, customer service and value for money as well as feedback from mystery shops which is passed on to a panel of independent judges to pick the winner.

Gavyn Bolton, General Manager at Bryn Meadows Golf Hotel and Spa, said: “I am so proud of the team who have helped 80 couples this year alone get their dream wedding day.

“As the nominations were made by our married couples the recognition means so much more to us all. From the wedding and events team who support the couples from start to finish as well as those who work tirelessly behind the scenes including our chefs and operational staff to make sure the day goes to plan.”
