A man from Gilfach has been jailed for three years after he was found guilty of stalking a stranger.
Barry Winter, 37, of The Drive in Gilfach, had denied standing outside the window of a woman’s home to watch her getting out of the shower. Cardiff Crown Court heard he had done so for several weeks and was found guilty last month.
He had also entered the woman’s house once but left when she realised he was there and was also frightened off another time he tried when a house alarm went off.
Winter was caught by Gwent Police after he was identified on CCTV with “distinctive” clothing.
