Foster carers needed by Caerphilly County Borough Council and Action for Children

News | | Published: 12:26, Thursday March 22nd, 2018.

Caerphilly County Borough Council and charity Action for Children are looking for specialist foster carers.

Action for Children’s MIST Service, launched in Caerphilly County Borough in April last year, places children and young people with a range of complex mental health issues with foster carers.

The Multi-disciplinary Intervention Service Torfaen,(named because it was originally launched in Tofaen),offers 24-hour support for foster carers, training opportunities and a generous financial package.

Applicants should have a spare room and a passion to provide vulnerable children with an opportunity to grow and develop in a family environment.
