Three men wanted for aggravated burglary in Pontllanfraith after threatening woman with a knife

Police are looking for three men who carried out an aggravated burglary in Pontllanfraith.

At around 2.30pm, on Tuesday, April 10, a man, wearing a hi-visibility jacket, knocked on the door of house in Clos Trefin, Pontllanfraith. He asked the woman living there if he could use the toilet and he was let into the property.

Another man, also wearing a hi-visibility jacket along with gloves and a hat covering his face, then entered the house and demanded drugs and money. He did this while brandishing a kitchen knife.

Meanwhile, a third man approached the property and held the front door closed from the outside.

Gwent Police said the three men then left the property in the direction of Ivor Street, Pontlanffraith. No items were stolen.

    A scary burglary in broad daylight, This proves again we need more constables on the our streets. We dont need gimmicks anymore we need people on the street to stop this kind of thing happening again.
