Castle Court shopping Centre in Caerphilly town centre has appointed Marika Jones as its new centre manager.

Marika has spent the last six years at the Morgan Quarter Centre in Cardiff.

“I have been working at the centre several days a week over the last couple of months and am really enjoying being part of this centre.

“Since I have been here, we have already run several very successful promotions and have more planned over coming months,” said Marika.

“Now that I am here full-time, I am looking forward to the new challenges and maintaining the important role the centre has in Caerphilly.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Morgan Quarter,” said Marika.

“While I was there, I gained a great insight into the running a shopping centre and what makes it tick.”

“The varied and demanding work I undertook during my time at the Centre will be invaluable in my new position as manager of Castle Court.”

Marika studied business and finance at the University of Glamorgan and from 1993 to when she joined the Morgan Quarter, had several administrator positions including one for the city centre management, Cardiff Council and clerk to the governors at Derry Hill School in Calne.

In her spare time, Marika enjoys spending time with her son – 15-year-old Rhydian – running, cycling, skiing and walking. She is also a Scout Sectional Assistant with the Penarth and District Scout Group.

    Congratulations……
Marika Jones on your new role, but you need to install some new rubbish bins in the shopping centre, there has not been any there for about a year, some how they been removed and not been replaced.
