Gas pipe views wanted by Wales and West Utilities

News | | Published: 11:00, Friday June 1st, 2018.

The company responsible for transporting gas into homes and businesses around the country wants to hear what people think of its services.

Wales and West Utilities has launched a public consultation say on the future of the gas network that serves three million people across Wales.

The company provides the national gas emergency service for Wales and invests around £2 million a week looking after the gas network.

For customers in need of extra support, the company has a scheme offering low-cost gas connections and financial help for appliance repairs. There is also a priority register to make sure people in vulnerable situations are prioritised when things go wrong.

It is asking customers to give their views on the gas emergency service, investment to keep the gas network safe and reliable and how it supports those most in need.

Wales and West Utilities charge for its services through consumer gas bills. The charges make up around 20% of an annual gas bill.

The company is asking customers to give their views on the gas emergency service, investment to keep the gas network safe and reliable, and how it supports those most in need.

It is also seeking views on preparing the gas network for a greener future, making sure it can continue to deliver essential services for generations to come.

Use some of the 2 million to fill in the hole’s that you cause when you dig up
    the roads.

I believe so to but mostly they not filled in properly and the hole may re-sink.
Put you glasses on dear Edward. Or do you still drive the tractor.

Retired dear boy, and my eyes are fine unlike some people my age I do not require glassess. Why did you say that first that they are not filled properly rather than saying they need to fill the holes. You first comment was in correct. Think before you write in order for it to make sense. Advice from an old timer.
