Police make mock Twitter appeal after cannabis plant found in dumped fridge

Police in Bargoed have used Twitter to make a mock appeal after a fridge – complete with cannabis plant – was found dumped in Gelligaer.

Posting on the social media site on Sunday, April 7, the Bargoed policing team wrote: “If anyone has lost a fridge containing a large cannabis plant at the rear of Claerwen, Gelligaer please can you contact Bargoed Community Officers at the Police Station! #leafitalone #adopefind #hashtag.”
