Appeal to find missing Pontllanfraith woman

Laurie Jones has been reported missing

A 23-year-old woman from Pontllanfraith has been reported missing.

Laurie Jones was last seen leaving the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff at around 1.40am on Tuesday, October 1.

In a statement, Gwent Police said officers were “increasingly concerned” for her safety.

Gwent Police added: “Laurie was last seen wearing blue nurses scrubs and black shoes and a blue NHS hooded top. She was also carrying a pink rucksack and pink water bottle.

“Laurie is described as white, of medium build with long brown hair and she was wearing glasses.

“If you have seen Laurie or believe you have any information that may help us with our enquiries, please call 101, quoting ref 1900358024.”
