Newbridge Memo is set to be the focus of a BBC television documentary starring comedian Owen Money.
The final episode of Down The Social with Owen Money will air on BBC One Wales at 7.30pm on Monday, October 7.
The Merthyr Tydfil-born entertainer will, alongside club performer Mandy Starr, visit the memo during the episode.
The show sees Money and Starr travel across Wales visiting social clubs steeped in history.
The Memo, was originally a social club when it was first built more than 100 years ago.
Once described as the ‘jewel of the valleys’, the memo has undergone massive restoration works and now hosts a library, ballroom and 1920s art deco theatre.
During the episode, the presenters will meet with Newbridge-based Latin dance group KLA, who made it to the final of television talent show The Greatest Dancer earlier this year.
The presenters also meet with Barbara Bevan, who fought to save the building after the Celynen mine closed.
The memorial hall was built onto the social club after WWI to honour the 75 people of the Celynen Colliery who lost their lives in the conflict.
