A body has been found in the search for a missing Nelson rugby player.
Brooke Morris, 22, was last seen at around 2.30am on Saturday, October 12 after a night out in Merthyr Tydfil.
Ms Morris received a lift home to Trelewis, near Nelson, before her disappearance.
In a statement, South Wales Police said: “Officers investigating the disappearance of 22 year-old Brooke Morris have located the body of a woman in the River Taff near Trelewis.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place, but Brooke’s family have been informed and are being supported by officers.”
