Property burgled in Trinant

The burglary happened at a property on Pentwyn Road, Trinant

A property on Pentwyn Road, Trinant, has been burgled.

The burglary happened at around 4.30am on Monday, November 11.

Two men entered the property but were disturbed by the occupants, Gwent Police say.

The men are reported to have fled the scene, heading south down Pentwyn Road.

The first offender is described as 5ft8in tall and of a medium build, while the other offender is described as 5ft10in tall, of a slim build and carrying a small black bag.

They were both wearing black jackets, black trousers, black boots and black gloves.

In a statement, Gwent Police said: “We are appealing for information from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area that could help our enquiries. Officers are also requesting that anyone with a dashcam fitted to their vehicle, that may have travelled along Pentwyn road or parked in the area around the time of the burglary, to please check any footage.”
