Investigation after man assaulted in pub

Police would like to speak to this man

An investigation is taking place after a 27-year-old man suffered a serious eye injury after he was assaulted in a Caerphilly pub.

The assault happened at the Moat House pub sometime between the evening of Saturday, January 11 to the early hours of Sunday, January 12.

Gwent Police say its officers would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with incident as they believe he may be able to help with enquiries.

Anyone with information about the assault can contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting reference 2000014827.
