All council-run parks and playgrounds in Caerphilly County Borough have closed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Caerphilly County Borough Council says it has made the decision “in the interests of public health”.
All council-run enclosed children’s play areas, skate parks, and country parks closed with immediate effect on Monday (March 23).
The council says the decision was made following guidance from the UK and Welsh governments to ensure social distancing practices are followed.
The decision means popular parks, including Morgan Jones Park in Caerphilly, Bargoed Park and Waunfawr Park in Crosskeys, as well as Nelson skate park, will all be shut until further notice.
