Two men have been charged following a drugs bust in Rhymney.

Gwent Police carried out the raid at a property in Ty Coch at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, March 31.

During the raid, specialist officers seized what they believe to be cocaine.

The drugs will be sent away for forensic examination and identification.

A 29-year-old man from Rhymney and a 22-year-old man from Ystrad Mynach were both arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A substances.

They were later charged and remanded to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
