A booking system is now in place at the drive-through coronavirus test centre at the council offices in Penallta.
The centre opened on Tuesday, September 8, due to high demand at the test centre at Caerphilly Leisure Centre.
Residents who want to be tested at the walk-in test facility at Caerphilly Leisure Centre can still get a test without the need to book.
The test centres will be open until Tuesday, September 15.

The test centres are open to anyone living in Caerphilly County Borough who is experiencing symptoms of coronavirus.
Symptoms include a new continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss of taste or smell.
Residents will need to bring ID and proof of address with them to the test centres.
Mererid Bowley, interim director of Public Health Wales, said: “These testing centres will help us learn more the rate of infection in Caerphilly and will help us keep Gwent safe.
“You can help us reduce the spread of the virus. Maintain social distancing, wash your hands often, wear a face covering when it’s hard to social distance, get a test if you have symptoms and self-isolate if you’re asked to by a contact tracer.”
To book an appointment at the test centre in Penallta, call 0300 30 31 222 between 8am and 6pm.
