A booking system is now in place at the drive-through coronavirus test centre at the council offices in Penallta.

The centre opened on Tuesday, September 8, due to high demand at the test centre at Caerphilly Leisure Centre.

Residents who want to be tested at the walk-in test facility at Caerphilly Leisure Centre can still get a test without the need to book.

The test centres will be open until Tuesday, September 15.

“You can help us reduce the spread of the virus. Maintain social distancing, wash your hands often, wear a face covering when it’s hard to social distance, get a test if you have symptoms and self-isolate if you’re asked to by a contact tracer.”
