A 28-year-old man has been jailed for three years and four months for offering to supply cocaine.

Niall Price, of Tredegar Road, New Tredegar, pleaded guilty and was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court on September 14.

The two offences happened on July 23, 2019 and September 7, 2019.

DC Isaac Gott, of Gwent Police, welcomed the sentence and said he hopes it “sends a message to those involved in this type of criminality that we will not tolerate the supply of class A drugs in our communities”.

DC Gott added: “We will continue take action against individuals and bring offenders before the courts.

“I would encourage anyone with information about drug dealing to contact us so we can take action. You can do so by calling us on 101 or reporting information via direct message on social media.

“Anyone can report information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
