Caerphilly company has date with Google

Business | | Published: 11:00, Wednesday April 22nd, 2015.

A Caerphilly-based start-up has been selected to attend a mentoring scheme with search engine giant Google.

One Million Steps is based at the Welsh Innovation Centre for Enterprise, on Caerphilly Business Park. The firm is just one of 15 UK start-ups chosen for Google LaunchPad – being held in London later this month.

Founder Ranjit Ghoshal will work with experts to develop a mobile and web app to help people raise money for charity through healthy everyday challenges.

Mr Ghoshal said: “Being chosen by Google is both humbling and a fantastic opportunity to build a product that can have a huge impact on many lives.”

I wonder if this `Date with Google` as mentors to new businesses in Caerphilly, will include a session on how to legally avade and avoid Captial Gains and businessTaxes?.and How to set up `Off Shore` facilites for hiding the fiscal tactics of indiginous UK businesses? etc.
