Free business advice at Caerphilly’s Welsh ICE

A start-up centre has teamed up with a group of business experts to help fledging firms grow.

The Welsh Innovation Centre for Enterprise (ICE), based on Caerphilly Business Park, will be holding the free drop-in expert surgery sessions every Tuesday and Thursday between 10am and 1pm.

The scheme will give entrepreneurs and business owners access to free advice on subjects ranging from data protection and law to tax and accounting. The sessions are also open to businesses not based at Welsh ICE.

High-profile businesses and organisations involved in the scheme include Blake Morgan, Broomfield and Alexander, Green and Co, Greenaway Scott, Lloyds Bank, Geldards, Thomas Carroll, UHY Hacker Young, Wynne Jones, and the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Gareth Jones, Welsh ICE’s founder, said; “It’s a real commercial advantage for the existing ICE community and incoming members to have access to this support every other day.

“We are delighted to also be extending this opportunity to the wider business community.

“Our partners are dedicated to reinvesting expertise in the future economy of Wales.”
