A new spectator stand could be built at Marshfield Football Club’s home ground.
Documents submitted to Newport City Council show an 85-person stand has been proposed for the southwestern side of the pitch, between the two dugouts.
Applicant Paul Berry’s plans also include a proposal for a new footpath leading to the stand from the rear of Marshfield Village Hall.
A new hedge would also be planted for screening behind the stand.
The application is out for consultation until Thursday August 28, and can be viewed on the Newport City Council website under reference 25/0618.
