Castle Gate’s Robi Ahmed is celebrating three recent award wins

An Indian restaurant has been recognised for its quality once again with three recent award wins.

And to celebrate, it is offering 30% off for pensioners dining-in every Sunday and Monday.

Castle Gate, based on Castle View, Caerphilly, was named the South East Five Star Indian Restaurant of the Year as well as the overall Five Star Indian Restaurant of the Year at this year’s Welsh Asian Food Awards.

It was also named winner of the Curry Takeaway of the Year category.

Robi Ahmed, from Castle Gate, said: “I feel very proud that Castle Gate has been honoured with these awards. Our staff work really hard to provide an excellent service and I would like to thank all of our customers for their support.”

Voted for by the public, the nominees were made up of hard-working individuals and businesses who bring delicious Asian food and represent the rich culture and heritage of Wales.

Robi would like to help the community with a special offer.
He said: “Our elderly people have served our community for so many years.
“I would like to offer them 30% off every Sunday and Monday when dining-in.”
