Castle Gate’s Robi Ahmed celebrates the restaurant’s latest award

Castle Gate Indian Kitchen and Bar has introduced two new offers to help people through the cost-of-living crisis.

The multi-award winning Castle Gate, which has full disabled access and is based on Castle View, Caerphilly, is offering people a four course dine-in meal for just £15.75 every Sunday.

While Tuesday sees the return of its famous banquet nights where a five course dine-in meal costs just £17.75.

It is also offering a 15% discount for online takeaway orders; or a 10% discount for seniors and NHS or emergency service workers who dine-in.

Prices on its new à la carte menu have also been lowered by 10%.

The restaurant is at the heart of its community with regular fundraising events supporting different charity groups.

During the pandemic, the restaurant also donated meals to hard-working local NHS staff.

Robi Ahmed, from Castle Gate, said: “The team here at Castle Gate understand how difficult things are right now for people.

“We want to help people with their budgets, so they can still enjoy a delicious meal – whether that’s in their home with a takeaway or dining-in with us.

“People gave us their support during the pandemic and it is now time to give something back.”

The restaurant was recently named the South East Five Star Indian Restaurant of the Year as well as the overall Five Star Indian Restaurant of the Year at the 2022 Welsh Asian Food Awards. It was also named winner of the Curry Takeaway of the Year category.
