Cwrt Rawlin FC are looking forward to testing themselves in their first season in the South Wales Alliance League Division Two after winning the Terv Premier League last season.
After a difficult season off the pitch last year, Cwrt Rawlin are fully focussed on pushing themselves to the limit, according to first team captain Nick Edwards.
Speaking to Caerphilly Observer ahead of the season he said: It’ll be a completely new set up for us this year where we’ll look to test ourselves against some very good sides.
“Our pre-season has been a great learning curve for the boys, especially those who have joined in the off-season. We’re really excited to get underway.”
Due to an admin error, the club have not entered into the Welsh Cup meaning their first league game will be on Saturday August 5.
Edwards continued: “We’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain. We’ve got no real expectations but being competitive is a must. Let’s see how he fair.”
