Cwmbran Celtic battled back to grab a last minute equaliser

Cascade Ladies conceded a late equaliser by Cwmbran Celtic for a 1-1 draw in their Genero Adran South league clash on February 11.

It was Déjà vu for the two sides, who met just one week prior for a league cup game at the Centre for Sporting Excellence.

The result was a draw in that game too, but Cascade just about got over the line and into the semis via penalties.

This time around, Lauren Boyd opened the scoring for the hosts at the 70 minute mark, and looked set to go on and claim all three points.

It wasn’t to be however, fighting until the end again, Cwmbran equalised through a late Jade Crofts goal.

With that draw, Briton Ferry have officially be crowned champions of the Genero Adran South once again.
