Machen’s annual mountain race is just a few weeks away, with hundreds expected to take part in the run that first started more than 40 years ago.

The run will take place on Monday August 26 at 3pm, with the start-finish line on Church Street, Machen.

Entry will be on the day and cost each runner £7. The race itself is 7km long or 4.3 miles.

You must be at least 18-year-old to enter.
