Cascade Ladies captain Katie Davies has been named in the Genero Adran Leagues team of the week after her performance in a 1-0 win over Llanelli Ladies.
The defender was instrumental in the victory, not only in providing the game-winning assist, but also through her leadership qualities in what was a feisty match from minute one.
The 34-year-old will be hoping for a similar performance in Cascade’s first league match of the season on Sunday September 15 when they host Swansea University Women.
