Gerwyn Price is guaranteed a Premier League play-off spot after reaching the Night 14 semi-finals in Leeds.
Price, from Markham, defeated Rob Cross 6-5 at the quarter-final stage on Thursday May 8, but was beaten 6-3 by Luke Littler in the semi-finals.
Littler was eventually beaten by Luke Humphries in the final, but remains top of the standings.
Price meanwhile is third in the standings, with three night wins under his belt so far this campaign – including Dublin, Nottingham and more recently Liverpool.
There are now just two nights remaining before the play-offs at London’s O2 Arena on May 29.
How do the play-offs work?
Ranking points are awarded per night – with five to the winner, three to the runner-up and two to the semi-finalists – to form the league table from which the top four players will progress to the play-offs.
The play-offs will be played at The O2 in London on Thursday May 29, with two semi-finals and a final – with the winner crowned Premier League Darts champion.
Next week, Premier League Darts heads to Aberdeen for Night 15, where Price will play Stephen Bunting in the opening round, before a potential semi-final against either Michael van Gerwen or Nathan Aspinall.
