Gerwyn Price saw off world number one Luke Humphries as he reached the semi-finals of the Nordic Darts Masters over the weekend.

Price, from Markham, secured a 6-3 win over Norway’s Cor Dekker in the opening round in Copenhagen, to set up a quarter-final clash with recent Premier League winner Humphries.

The Iceman, who won last year’s Nordic Darts Masters, clinched an impressive 6-3 win over Humphries as he sailed into the semi-finals.

However, he fell to a 7-4 defeat to Rob Cross, who himself was beaten in the final by Stephen Bunting.

The World Series of Darts continues on June 27 and June 28 as the PDC returns to New York’s Madison Square Garden with the 2025 US Darts Masters, before heading to Gliwice, Poland, for the Poland Darts Masters on July 4 and July 5.

But before that, Price teams up with Jonny Clayton to represent Wales at the World Cup of Darts, which is being held in Frankfurt, Germany, between June 12 and 15.
