Markham’s Gerwyn Price reached the semi-finals of the US Darts Masters over the weekend, but was knocked out by the eventual champion.
Price got past USA’s Adam Sevada in the first round in New York City, earning a 6-2 win in the Theater at Madison Square Garden.
He then knocked out Michael Van Gerwen, beating the three-time world champion 6-3 at the quarter-final stage.
However, his run came to an end when he met Luke Humphries in the semis, with the world number one sealing a 7-2 victory to set up a final showdown with Nathan Aspinall, which he won 8-6.
