Update: Gerwyn Price withdrew from the competition due to his injury
Gerwyn Price will be looking to make it back-to-back European title victories this weekend, with the Flanders Darts Trophy set to get underway.
Price, from Markham, was forced to withdraw from last weekend’s Players Championship 25 due to a hand injury, but he will be hoping to overcome it in time to compete in Belgium.
The 40-year-old, who was victorious in July’s Baltic Sea Darts Open, has been drawn to face either Ryan Joyce or Ricardo Pietreczko in the second round on Saturday August 30.
The third round, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will all be played on Sunday August 31.
