Gerwyn Price reached the quarter-finals of the Czech Darts Open as he made his return following a hand injury.
Price, from Markham, entered the competition in the second round, where he beat Germany’s Niko Springer 6-2.
He then saw off fellow Welshman Jonny Clayton 6-4 in the third round.
However, the Iceman was comfortably beaten by Gian van Veen in the quarter-finals, with the Dutchman earning a 6-0 win.
The competition, held in Prague, was eventually won by Luke Humphries, who defeated Josh Rock 8-5 in the final.
