Cardiff City has confirmed that fan favourite and Caerphilly’s Robert Earnshaw has returned to the club on a free transfer from Nottingham Forest.
The club has said paperwork for the deal was completed Tuesday night after the 30-year-old player turned down a new deal from Forest.
The record-breaking striker and Wales international becomes Malky Mackay’s fourth signing of the summer, and will link up with the squad shortly after signing a two-year deal.
