Treharris RFC launch new girls side

Sport | Richard Gurner | Published: 10:30, Tuesday January 26th, 2010.

Treharris are hoping to create their own slice of history this Friday when they launch their own Girls team for the very first time.
The Treharris RFC are starting this exciting new chapter in the club’s history at Treharris Boys and Girls club, in Forest Road, at 6pm.

The club are hoping to encourage anyone between 13 and 16 years of age to come along where they will receive a short presentation on girl’s rugby.

Treharris officials, coaches and members of the Welsh Women’s squad will be available to meet, chat and answer any questions on women’s and girls’ rugby.
