Aber Valley Wolves rugby league team is looking to start an Under 14s side and add to its Under 15s, side.

Both sides will be based at Caerphilly RFC and the Wolves will be holding an open day there on April 20 between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

Darren Williams, manager of the Under 15s, said: “The Under 15s are an established team and reached the final of the junior Welsh cup but lost to Pontyclun Panthers.

“We’ve had seven players playing for East Wales and seven players in the South Wales Scorpians Acadamy and another three players in the Scorpians’ development squad.

“We are hopefully starting an u14s team so we are looking for players who are interested in both age groups.”
