Bedwas finished fifth in the Principality Premiership – just one agonising win away from the play-offs.

They finished the season with a 43-15 win over Neath on April 25, scoring seven tries in a spirited end to the campaign.

George Gasson scored two tries on his Bedwas debut, with first half scores added by Tom Rowlands, Lewis Hudd and Stuart Thomas.

Connor Edwards and Mike Callow scored in the second half to secure the win.

With the season finished, the transfer merry-go-round will now move into gear and, inevitably, some players will be moving on.

News of the new signings for Bedwas RFC will be posted on the club website once confirmed at www.bedwasrfc.co.uk.
