A Blackwood woman who is the FAW’s Gwent Volunteer Of The Year, has been nominated for a people’s award for services to grassroots football.
Meryl Kibble received the Gwent Volunteer of the Year award for her work as fixture secretary for mini and junior leagues in the Islwyn Youth League.
She will now compete against five other Welsh regional winners for the National People’s Award at the FAW Community Awards at Cardiff City Stadium on October 13.
